The Surrey Vintage Vehicle Society is an all-make club catering for enthusiasts who share an interest in Veteran cars, Vintage cars and Classic cars and who live in the South East of England. The Society has some 170 Members who between them have in excess of some 350 Historic Vehicles;  classics,  commercials, agricultural and  motorbikes.  Feel free to check out the wide variety of  SVVS  vehicle  makes.

IDENTIFICATION AND DATING:1899 Daimler Kimberly Tonneau

Photo sent to us by Kay Pittelkow (Australia) taken in 1908 Yorkshire of a car  possibly owned by great grand uncle Walter Graves.    --  Probaly not! This is very likely a photographers "prop" (no reg) and could well be same car as on Help Page 16. The car is a cca 1899 Daimler Kimberly 4HP Tonneau. Car has a weird black box around the front axle, possibly  'dark room' or tripod store. Tyres appear flat and there is a sand  'ramp'  by rear wheel.  No tyre tracks to indicate how it got there
